Monthly Stakeholder Update - First Edition (Part 2)
This newsletter covers monthly updates from team Partnr and is shared with a curated set of individuals that align with our purpose and goals.
It’s our first time (edition) rolling out an update, and haven’t been able to cover all sections we intended to in the post rolled out last week. So, we’ve made this first edition a two-part update.
The first part of this edition covered an Overview, a Client Experience, and the Product Update.
Link for a quick recap:
This second part covers updates on our online campaign REVIVE, on our Fundraise, and on team Expansion.
REVIVE - Empowering global talent
The mass global layoffs amidst a global recession have pushed a huge portion of the world to feel threatened like never before.
It's crucial to extend support and be there for each other amidst such trying times. We're extending support for Upskilling, Mental Wellness, and finding the right opportunities.
We're driving this support through an online campaign called REVIVE and would love for you to be a part!
A glimpse of what we’ve been up to -
60+ Partners Onboarded, organized activities all month long, and actively enabling companies to hire through REVIVE!
This cause is aligned with SDG 8 laid by the UN, and we're looking to garner support from the UN in amplifying this cause. Feel free to share ideas to make this happen.
We're actively onboarding more allies (organizations and individuals) to support the cause. Kindly refer interested allies via email to kriti@partnr.network or anjali.bawa@partnr.network, or DM us on any of Partnr’s social media handles.
ON FUNDRAISE
We’re preparing to fundraise to build out the Proof of Skill Consensus as a Protocol.
It Decentralizes the Validator Ecosystem powered by the Skill Graph Network. This enables 100x better value-add (for Consulting) at scale.
A quick recap of the Overview from Part 1
We're building the template to decentralize consulting at 100x the current value add. Our north star metric is measuring the competence to deliver quality work. It's achieved through decentralized validation powered by the skill graph network as a tool.
We've gotten started with the Web 3 niche within Talent Acquisition as the pilot use case. And intend to establish the first 100x value add in the Talent Acquisition segment before we broaden the spectrum.
How's Talent Acquisition tied to Consulting?
The layer we're building focuses on two core problems that are universal to consulting - mapping of the right resources and vetting for quality.
Talent Acquisition is a part of Talent Consulting which encompasses Talent Management, Talent Insights, etc. Talent Consulting falls under the Consulting realm along with other forms like Strategic, Management, Technology, and the like. So, on solving these core problems for one use case at 100x better value, they can simply be adopted by the others.
To add more:
Why Decentralize?
1. Co-ownership is the crux of Web 3.
To us, decentralization = co-ownership. And this, consensus mechanisms have achieved at scale. We don’t believe in the concept of a completely decentralized society, simply because it’s a feature of the human species to coexist in communities that are tied to a need to be led. This co-ownership model is a more efficient democratic template relative to the existing ones.
2. Pseudonymity for equitable access to opportunities curbing the inherent bias in existing systems.
3. Protocols are built for Scale, and Products break at Scale
Why obsess over the 100x value add?
This creates a phase shift in economies, just like the aftermath of the Industrial Era, the Printing Press, or the birth of the Internet. Given the current global order and where we seem to be headed, it can possibly prove to be revolutionary.
For a decent portion of the global consulting volume (~40%) to be routed through the protocol after establishing different forms of consulting at 100x the value add through it, it will take up to a decade from now.
At that point, the Partnr Protocol will form the Service Layer of the Internet.
The unit economic value of this layer will be derived from the quality of a work deliverable. This is a function of human capital efficiency.
Raghuram Rajan’s thoughts on services, restructuring society, human capital, redistributing income, and decentralized governance in this video also attest to the rationale behind building out such a Service Layer.
This Service Layer is the bridge between the current reality and the possibility of the Internet itself rolling up into a Self Governing Digital Jurisdiction as Balaji Srinivasan has captured here. This will take about two decades from now to pan out.
What does this mean to an Investor?
20 times the Return on Investment in a year
Milestone:
Achieve 5 success stories establishing 100x better Talent Acquisition for Fortune 100s, and then open the protocol for Talent DApps to be built on top.
